Privacy policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026.

At Perfumetti we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, for how long and what rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

1. Data controller

The controller is the owner of Perfumetti, an individual whose identification details are not published for privacy reasons. For any matter about your data, including exercising your rights, you can get in touch at:

Email
support@perfumetti.com

2. What data we process and why

Browsing and analytics

If you accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (page views, traffic source, device and approximate country). This involves processing online identifiers and the IP address, which Google truncates before storing it. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link.

Advertising

If you accept, the site shows Google AdSense ads, which may use cookies and identifiers to personalise advertising and measure its performance. Legal basis: your consent. Without it, only non-personalised ads are shown where the regulations allow.

Comments

If you leave a comment, we process your name, your email address (which is not published), the comment content and your IP address, in order to publish and moderate it and to prevent spam and abuse. Legal basis: your consent when submitting it and our legitimate interest in the security of the site. If you tick the box to remember your details, they are stored in cookies in your browser.

Contact form and email

If you write to us through the form or by email, we process your name, your email address and the content of your message in order to reply. Legal basis: your consent, or taking pre-contractual steps at your request.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address (and your name, if you provide it) to send you Perfumetti news. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email. We use Brevo (Brevo SAS, France) to send it; Brevo acts as a data processor.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, you leave our site for a third-party store. That store processes your data under its own privacy policy and may use cookies to credit us with the commission. We do not receive personal data about your purchases.

Server logs

Our server automatically records technical data (IP address, date and time, pages requested and browser) for security and operational reasons. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

3. Recipients

We do not sell your data. The providers that supply us with services may access it, only to the extent necessary:

  • Nominalia (web hosting and email).
  • Google (Google Analytics and Google AdSense). Google LLC may process data in the United States; transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
  • Brevo (newsletter delivery, if you subscribe).

We may also disclose data to the authorities when required by law.

4. Retention periods

  • Analytics: the cookie lifetimes listed in the Cookie policy.
  • Comments: while the comment remains published or until you ask for it to be deleted.
  • Contact messages: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, afterwards, for the legal limitation periods.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

5. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to support@perfumetti.com and stating the right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to prove your identity.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

6. Minors

This site is not aimed at children under 14. If you are under that age, please do not give us personal data without the consent of your parents or guardians.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted communications over HTTPS and access control. No measure is foolproof, but we work to minimise risks.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to the regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
